EBOO aims to address the exploding demand for low-emission technologies in last-mile delivery. Annual emissions from last-mile delivery are set to rise by about 33%, by 2030, and the number of delivery vehicles will grow by some 36%, during the same period.  

While most cargo bikes on the market today are built for the consumer segment, the Boreal specifically targets the commercial market. It is built to withstand the punishment and longer usage cycles required in last-mile delivery. Most importantly, it is designed for year-round commercial use, including winter operation.
