Anubhav Pratap-Singh is an Associate Professor and Director of the BC Food and Beverage Innovation Center at UBC. Prof. Pratap-Singh’s research group focuses on novel processing techniques with a special focus on plant-based, fermentation and sustainable efforts like upcycling and biodegradable packaging. Prof. Pratap-Singh is also actively involved in shaping the university's academic policies at the UBC Vancouver Senate, serving on the UBC Academic Policy Committee and the UBC Research & Scholarship Committee. Prof. Pratap-Singh is also actively involved with the local British Columbia Food Technologists Association, and the national Canadian Institute of Food Science & Technology Association, and chairs the Academic coordination committee of the BC Food Hub Network.
