Don brings a wealth of business and aviation experience to his position as Vice President, Operations and Regulatory Affairs at the Nanaimo Airport.  He is an accredited airport executive with IAAE Canada, holds a master’s in business administration from Vancouver Island University, and an honours degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. 

Don is a licenced commercial pilot and is aggressively pursuing his passion for innovation and sustainability in the aviation industry.  He leads the development and implementation of policies and programs that support environmental management, decarbonization, and advanced air mobility.  He currently serves on several local, provincial, national, and international airport operations and environmental committees.
