VEVA zoom meeting coordinator, Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association (VEVA)
Don Griffiths bought one of the first Hyundai Kona's to come into Canada in 2019. After a few months getting used to it, he drove across Canada from Vancouver to Saint John's Newfoundland. He returned from Montreal to Vancouver in 7 days without any significant charging difficulties on the whole 20,000 mile trip. All this before there were DCFC fast chargers all the way across the country. He has since driven to Hamilton, Ontario and another trip to Swift Current, Saskatchewan as well as several trips around BC. Don has one of the only private curbside chargers in Vancouver, from an extinct city pilot project. Don has retired from a career as a theatre technician at UBC (The University of British Columbia) and is the zoom meeting coordinator for VEVA (Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association)
