Garry has a BSc in Computer Science from UBC. After a career in software development and management he retired to focus on cycling and travel. He became interested in EVs when Tesla introduced the Model S in 2012. Since then, he has closely followed all things EV and purchased a Model 3 in 2018. He and his wife have done several EV road trips, relying on Tesla superchargers and hotel level 2 chargers. Garry became a member of VEVA in 2020. He and his wife are currently renovating and decarbonizing their 1974 home, including the installation of solar panels and battery
