Following several years working in sales in the construction industry, James decided to take a leap and train to become an Energy Advisor, combining his experience as a consultant, knowledge of the local industry, and passion for sustainability. James holds a master’s degree in environmental geoscience from the University of London and has spent the last couple of years working on both new and existing homes, providing sound technical advice to builders, architects, and homeowners on how to improve operational efficiency and meet required energy efficiency targets. James is a Net-Zero Certified Energy Advisor. James believes there is more that needs to be done to make our homes and communities truly sustainable. This means looking beyond just operational efficiencies and more at the bigger picture including life cycle analysis, resiliency measures, and low-carbon materials.
