Kim Barbero is the CEO of the Mechanical Contractors Association of BC (MCABC), the dedicated provincial representative for the construction industry’s 10 core trades. Stewarding the progression of a diverse, skilled and innovative industry, Kim works with member companies to advocate for and drive advancements in the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional and Residential sectors.  Proponents of sustainability, MCABC is raising awareness of the importance and benefits of green careers and the impact certified mechanical contractors have on the delivery of clean water, clean air and comfort for all British Columbians. Kim, who serves on the B2E Leadership Council, is BC Business Magazine’s 2023 Women of the Year Awards winner in the Leader category. She joined MCABC in 2019, bringing more than 20 years of experience in global and local public, private and not-for-profit entities. Kim is a journalism graduate and accredited business communicator.
