Simon Vorlicek is an instructor in the Electric Vehicle program at BCIT, where he teaches automotive service technicians to safely diagnose and service high voltage electric vehicles.

A BMW-trained European car specialist originally from Australia, Simon has over 25 years repairing, rebuilding and restoring vehicles of all models and ages. With a passion for cars and new technologies, he recently migrated into the EV world and is excited to be a part of the transport industry’s transition to a greener future. Always interested in learning new systems, and always keen to get under the hood and find out how things work, Simon develops and teaches coursework that prepares his students for this rapidly transforming industry.
